In November 2023, I found myself at a standstill in my business. I questioned why I struggled to sell my offerings, share content, or implement strategies that had previously worked for my clients. This fear of visibility was hindering my progress.
To break free from this, I turned to writing. I decided to silence the voices of high-earning coaches in my mind and reconnect with my authentic self to monetize being me. While I believe coaches are meant to guide rather than impose their paths, I understood that every strategy has potential; the key is finding what resonates with you.
As we're in the second quarter, if you're feeling stuck or contemplating a shift, it's crucial to reflect on your situation. While many entrepreneurs prioritize strategy, building a six-figure business requires 70% mindset and 30% strategy. Appreciating your achievements is vital. You can mentor those who are a step behind you, but it's essential to overcome self-doubt, fear of success, fear of failure, fear of visibility, or imposter syndrome. Instead of chasing certifications, focus on understanding why your sales are not reflecting your efforts.
The Influence of Gratitude on Our Emotional and Mental Health
Gratitude is a powerful concept that can significantly affect our emotional and mental well-being. It involves acknowledging and valuing the positive aspects and blessings in our lives. By practicing gratitude, we can enhance our mood, perspective, and overall quality of life. But what exactly is gratitude?
Gratitude encompasses appreciation for others, life in general, and ourselves. It enables us to recognize the bright side of our existence, even during challenging times. Gratitude serves as a reminder that life consists of valuable moments and blessings, both big and small.
The Empowering Influence of Writing:
Expressing your thoughts in writing helps you avoid:
Criticizing and comparing yourself
Procrastination and self-sabotage
Numbing emotions with food or substances
Preventing burnout and depression
Through writing, I've rediscovered confidence in my abilities and embraced my identity as a writer. It has fulfilled my dream of writing on my computer, sharing my work with others, and earning from it, including coaching. Acknowledging my unique qualities and understanding the time required to build a business has been crucial. My clients achieve positive outcomes, and I've embraced this as my area of expertise. As someone who thrives in diverse areas, I specialize as a mindset and business coach.
