You Don't Have Money Problem, You Have A wortH Problem!
Why Your Worth Isn't Measured in Dollars?
There are many coaches, mentors or entrepreneurs who attract clients by their turnover figures. You see on the internet that they are 5 or 6 figures. You feel like you have to choose coaches or have clients due to your turnover and not your skills. This creates a toxic relationship between money and self-esteem. We feel that our self-esteem is linked to the money we have or create to have the life of our dreams or the dream business. When you want to start or develop your business, you compare yourself to people who have been in the industry for years or the image they give.
The Comparison Trap
When I started my business, I compared myself so much because I didn't have 12354566788 clients or a 6-figure business which pushed me to procrastinate and not finish my projects because I told myself: "this coach has already done it, what more can I bring". You feel like you have to have a certain level of money to be legitimate to sell your offers. In reality, we seek external validation, it's not that you don't have a 6-figure business yet, you can't bring a breath of fresh air or explain in another way that a person has the click.
This is why many coaches or entrepreneurs stop or pivot because they compare themselves or no longer like their fields because they are lost on this continuous search for money which always creates the feeling that I am not enough and touches this fear of lack. This need for perfection to show that we have a perfect life means that many clients pay for offers where they are just a number and have no results.
The Perfection Illusion
The goal is not just to say where you have to change everything, but you have to find out why you need to show your money so much. I know that I tried for a long time to show only my client results, but I attract people who wanted to be saved and who wanted to have results quickly without working and who are in fear because I was afraid, and I was wearing a mask. I hadn't worked on my relationship with money. I considered that the money I generated represented the value I carry. If I didn't sell then it's because I'm worthless, and I procrastinated and when I sold, I carried, and I worked a lot. No matter what your sales level, it should be neutral.
Detach From money
To detach your value from money, it's not just about stopping complaining about money, you have to find the root of why you need to always prove your value in relation to your standard of living. Money is a tool that allows you to develop your business as you see fit. If you block on what money means to you which is just an exchange between what you can do for others so that they can go towards their transformation, you will create a business just to accumulate money. It's not bad if that's your goal, but if you want more, you have to create a business, a service that you can sell but that you love without comparing yourself to others who are already in place. People need other things of connections and depths. Even if you have the impression that people prefer less deep things, it's wrong. Especially if you want to create a community that loves you for you and that if you pivot people will support you than if it's just for a service.
Many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of trying to present a perfect image. They showcase their best results and highest-earning months, creating an illusion of constant success. This can lead to:
Attracting clients who are only interested in quick results without putting in the work
Feeling pressured to maintain an image that doesn't reflect reality
Losing touch with the real reasons you started your business in the first place
Building an Authentic Business
Money will come, if you manage to understand what makes you vibrate and what you want to share by using what will allow you to make yourself known. That's why marketing is how to create content that will touch your dream clients is the key. If you want to know more, I invite you to join unapologetic cashflow club, which will teach you how to market your content to your community to sell your services.
Creating Content That Connects
You need to get out of the fact that money is there to pay your bills. Otherwise, you have a vision like most people who work to survive and afford some pleasures of life. It's not bad, but if you know you want more. You have to go beyond just making money on the internet, otherwise you will take services from 7 to 30 euros where you have little or no results. It starts with what you want to create to solve a problem that you have solved. Or you don't go the product but the transformation that you will promote in your content from you and content. What is important to experiment instead of copying just to have quick profits. You have to show another vision of things, it comes down to defining your vision for you and your community. If you have trouble with that, I invite you to do a free training on developing your vision and creating a community that is ready to buy your offer.
Shifting Your Money Mindset
When you shift your perspective from just making money but creating a brand, a business that you like and that solves a problem. Your business is more than posting every day just to get likes and sell. It's a way to spread your way of seeing things which is the best for your dream community that has brought you a transformation, even if you don't have a million dollars in your account. The goal is not just to make money, but to adapt a lifestyle that allows you to be different from what toxic society expects of you. If you look, the greatest entrepreneurs, they take nothing new but transform it according to their point of view.
Embracing a Larger Vision
Yes money or your lack of money is not your creation problem is the fact that you use this problem your lack of money to define your legitimacy or not to have a successful business when money has no emotion. It's just the projection of your own feelings that makes you unable to reach your goals because you can't work on your relationship with money. In this series on money mindset, I would like to go further to make you understand that you are legitimate to create a business in your image and distinguishing yourself from this notion of money and the value of money. In reality, you don't have a money problem but a self-esteem problem.
Conclusion
Success isn't just about reaching a certain income level. It's about creating a business that aligns with your values, serves your clients authentically, and allows you to live a fulfilling life.
By shifting your focus from just making money to creating real value, you'll not only build a more sustainable business but also find greater satisfaction in your work. And ironically, when you stop obsessing over money and start focusing on genuine service, the financial success often follows naturally.
